By managing every step—from quality control and sales to financing, warehousing, and shipping—LaREB removes the need for intermediaries like exporters or importers. This structure means that most of the value of each coffee, around 80–90% of profits, stays in Colombia and goes directly to the producers who grew it.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp class=\"p1\"\u003eOne of those producers is \u003cspan class=\"s1\"\u003e\u003cb\u003eYoiner\u003c\/b\u003e\u003c\/span\u003e, a third-generation coffee grower who came to coffee after a career in banking and accounting. While working at Banco Agrario, he saw how difficult it was for small producers to succeed under the country’s financial system.
